CASE / RUSUTSU RESORT

Turning water research into community learning.

Water-cycle symposium

Since 2024, an annual symposium has brought researchers, companies, local government and the community together to discuss the water cycle.

Each year provides a place to share project progress and the next direction.

  2. 2025

    Share monitoring results

  3. 2026

Children’s and educational programs

Local children enter forests and rivers to learn about the water cycle through hands-on experiences.

These activities are also being developed into water-cycle field programs for school trips and educational travel.

  1. 01

    Think together as a community

    Water-cycle symposium

The symposium brings researchers, companies, local government and the community together around the water cycle. The focus moves from understanding water in 2024 to sharing monitoring results in 2025 and local implementation in 2026, providing a place to share progress and the next direction.

    Held annually since 2024

  2. 02

    Reach the community

Environmental events and education for children

Local children enter forests and rivers to learn about the water cycle through experience. Specialist knowledge becomes opportunities for communities and the next generation to participate and learn.

  3. 03

    Take the next step

Educational travel, corporate training and ongoing branding

We are broadening opportunities to understand local nature, with a view to school trips and corporate training. At the same time, websites, photographs, video, events and articles communicate the value of environmental activities for companies and communities.
